From the moment we arrived, Frederick and the welcoming staff made us feel like part of the family, providing insider tips on local trails and activities. The south-facing hotel boasted stunning mountain views right from our balcony, perfect for sipping a cup of tea in the morning. After a day of skiing, we indulged in some delicious homemade cuisine at the on-site restaurant—definitely a highlight of our trip! And let's not forget the relaxing bar area where we unwound with a few local beers while enjoying the cozy atmosphere. As an environmental scientist and surfer, I appreciate places that prioritize sustainability, and this family-run gem exceeded my expectations in that regard too.
